Today I am Grateful for:
My Role. Just trying to figure out who I am, where I am and how I fit into the whole thing. Just letting go and letting me become who I am.
Early Morning Meeting. I'm fortunate enough to be able to go to the 6:30 am meetings this week because my son is on Spring break.
Gratitude. I'm so glad to be able to stop everyday and be Grateful for what I have. I see so many people who never stop to be Grateful even for a minute. They are also not the happiest people I know.
Quiet Morning Moments. I love my time in the morning. I'm alone and I have time to pray, meditate, think and plan my day. No interruptions.
Almost old as dirt...

Gary, I wish that my mornings were more leisurely during the week. But soon they will be. I am longing to sleep in with the time change but no such luck.
ReplyDeleteI have found the journey of re-discovering myself a very joyful one, keep it up
ReplyDeleteI'm right there with you today on the gratitude, quiet moments, and knowing I have a role and am not responsible for everyone or everything. We had spring break last week so it's back to business here. (I'm grateful for a routine)

Thanks for the gratitude. I start the day with a quiet time as well. Over breakfast, Peggy (my wife) and I do the 3rd and 7th step prayers and the Promises together and then each do our Morning Pages. It's really been a great way for us to get organized and into our day!
