Today I am Grateful for:

Early Morning. I woke up early because I have a lot running through my mind. I'm Grateful I woke up with a clear head, clean and sober.

Moving Forward. As hard as it is sometimes, I keep going forward. Dave says fear is a mile wide and high, but paper thin. I'm still working on breaking through it. It feels a bit like a rubber balloon.

Meetings. I'm so Grateful they are a part of my life.

Friends. Because of my sobriety I actually have friends that I can count on.

  2. My friends these days are true friends. I had alot of people that I used and that used me before. I am glad I am authentic now..and the people I surround myself with are too. Great list!

  3. I'm a big fan of acting "As If." How would you act if you weren't fearful? Try acting that way and see how it goes. You may find that it's not that long before you're not acting anymore!

  5. It's nice to have friends and people who I actually enjoy being around. The fellowship is a wonderful thing because before Al-Anon I didn't have those friends who had my back. Now I do.
